Patrick Helton is a frequent visitor to the island and for the past three years has decided to dedicate some of his time to assisting with the Anguilla Tennis Academy. He, among many others is a past participant and graduate of the program. He brings a great deal of experience as he has competed in many tournaments in the United States where competition is fierce.Patrick currently attends St. Francis High School in Louisville, Kentucky. He has played tennis since the age of 6 and his favorite professional players are Patrick Rafter and Serena Williams. Patrick believes that tennis is a unique sport in which one is constantly challenging his or her opponents as well as yourself.
About his experience in Anguilla, he commented, "Helping at the ATA has afforded me an opportunity to learn more about the culture and children of this beautiful island. It makes me feel good to help children who do not have the opportunity like kids in the United States. I have been coming to Anguilla since 1997 and I love it!"
