Sydans is a one minute walk to
Sandy Ground beach, a wide expanse of sand protected by Road Bay - it
seldom sees a wave. Gentle and welcoming for children and sailors too.
The beach is fascinating to stroll - past local
fisherman, visiting yachtsmen, sun-burned tourists,
children playing in the sand, gourmet restaurants, and
even a small luxury resort at the west end.
